Receiving the Sacraments at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish

Confession

The Sacrament of Penance is offered on Saturdays from 3:00 to 3:45 p.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, on the second Sunday of the month after 10:30 a.m. Mass at Saint Martha’s Church, on First Saturdays after the 8:30 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, on Mondays during Lent from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, and by appointment.

Matrimony

If you are interested in receiving the Sacrament of Marriage at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, please contact the parish office at 570-477-5040 or olmchc@gmail.com at least six months prior to the desired date.  Couples will be asked to participate in marriage preparation through the Diocese of Scranton or with our own Mrs. Maggie Fishel.

Confirmation (Children)

If you would like to enroll your child in our religious education program please contact the parish office a 570-477-5040 or email olmchc@gmail.com.

Baptism (CHILDREN)

If you would like to have your child baptized at either Our Lady of Mount Carmel or Saint Martha’s churches, please contact the parish office at 570-477-5040 or email olmchc@gmail.com. Parents will be asked to complete a pre-Baptismal course before the date.
